NPC Tracker Sheets
Due to the excessive number of combatants often found in a single Weird War II
battle, I've gone ahead and made some handy-dandy "NPC Tracker" sheets
to make everyone's lives easier, War Master and player alike. The purpose of
each sheet is explained next to the links to downloadable files, below, and a
JPEG example of giving an idea of how they were intended to be used is also
available.
All files are available in 3 formats, and 2 resolutions
(pixels/inch). The PDF file is Adobe Acrobat format, and probably the best
format for most. If you have Adobe Photoshop (they were created on Photoshop 6
and 7), go with the PSD
format. Finally, they are also available in JPEG format for those who, for
whatever reason, are unable to view it in any other format.
As a word of caution, although I've tried to keep the file
dimensions to 8"x10.5" inches (enough room for most graphics/drawing
programs to print them on 8.5"x11" paper without cutting anything
off), they are not perfectly sized and you may get a "picture dimensions
are too large, some clipping may occur" or similar message when trying to
print, depending on the program you're using and your printer's settings. If
you're printing from IE, Microsoft Paint, or some other crappy graphics program,
you're likely going to get some freaky results, especially at 144ppi.
6 NPC Tracker - 144ppi: PDF PSD JPEG 72ppi: PDF PSD JPEG
This sheet is for important NPCs, such as squad/platoon mates of the PCs, that you want to have individual character information for (for advancement purposes, to make them "more than just another target", etc.). There are slots for 6 individuals per page, allowing a normal-sized squad from most nationalities to fit on a single sheet (front and back). (example)6 Vehicle Tracker - 144ppi: PDF PSD JPEG 72ppi: PDF PSD JPEG
This sheet allows you to keep records on 6 vehicles. If you need to know the stats of their crews, you'll need to use another sheet. (example)4 NPC, 2 Vehicle Tracker - 144ppi: PDF PSD JPEG 72ppi: PDF PSD JPEG
There are slots for 4 NPCs and 2 vehicles on this sheet, which should allow you to cover most tanks or a pair of German halftracks or other 2-crew transport vehicles on a single sheet. (examples are the same as for the 2 standard trackers, above)5 NPC, 1 Vehicle Tracker - 144ppi: PDF PSD JPEG 72ppi: PDF PSD JPEG
There are slots for 5 NPCs and 1 vehicle on this sheet, which will cover the crew and vehicle stats for nearly every tank in Weird Wars (and a good number of self-propelled artillery to boot).
There are obviously many combinations of the NPC and Vehicle Trackers you can print on a single sheet, but rather than waste a bunch of server space (and bandwidth from people downloading them all) making every possible combination, I'll leave that to you. Even if you don't have any experience with graphic art programs, you can always just cut up the boxes from a couple sheets, tape them to a new sheet in whatever combination and pattern you want, and photocopy it. (examples are the same as for the 2 standard trackers, above)Infantry Platoon Tracker - 144ppi: PDF PSD JPEG 72ppi: PDF PSD JPEG
This sheet has entries for 5 different NPC "character types", room to list stats for their weapons, and 5 entries to track different squads, their weapon loads and ammo. (No examples - "completed" trackers for various platoon types and nationalities appear on the Unit Organization page(s).)Mechanized Infantry Platoon Tracker - 144ppi: PDF PSD JPEG 72ppi: PDF PSD JPEG
This sheet has entries for 4 different NPC "character types", room to list stats for their weapons, 4 entries to track different squads, their weapon loads, ammo, and the name/type and DP for 2 vehicles, and a vehicle tracker box to list the stats for the halftrack, truck, or whatever other vehicle type they're being transported in. (No examples - "completed" trackers for various platoon types and nationalities appear on the Unit Organization page(s).)Want all the 144ppi pdf tracker files in a single zip file? - WWII_tracker_sheets.zip (1.19MB)
Major NPC Tracker - 144ppi: PDF PSD JPEG 72ppi: PDF PSD JPEG
This sheet has (more than enough, I hope) room for 3 NPCs, with all of their stats, equipment, notes, weapons...a lot of room.
War Master's Screen
One of these day's I'll get it done...
Rune-Spell List Generator
The beta version of the Runepicker java applet is here! Since it's still in the beta stage I'm not putting a zip file of it up here, but I'm sure you can figure out how to download it locally if you really want.
If you find any obvious bugs, have some good
idea for something to add to it (printer support as well as some other stuff is
in the works), or just want to comment on it, email dirk@mchome.net
and I'll pass it on to the programmer, Steve.
If the program doesn't load for you (it loads a blank gray
screen, or acts like it's loading but never does, or it crashes your browser),
go over to http://java.sun.com/getjava/
and get the latest Java plugin.
Compiled Weapons and Equipment Table
It's done! This list has every weapon and piece of equipment from all the Weird Wars books (and this website) all compiled together. It's formatted in HTML in such a way that it should print nicely as long as you don't mess with IE's default page layout settings. If not, well...yet again, if someone wants to convert it to PDF format, be my guest.
Compiled Weapons and Equipment Table - HTML Version
Here's an HTML version of the weapons table left out of the Land of the Rising Dead book and put up on the Pinnacle website. As you can see, it's still missing various entries, and I don't even agree with most of the large-caliber weapon statistics, but oh well... I'll eventually modify and/or add statistics for this, but since my players aren't anywhere near winding up in the Pacific, it's not very high on my list of priorities at the moment.

Compiled Class-Skill Matrix
Remember Table 4-2: Skills on page 59 of the Player's
Handbook? Well, here's one for Weird Wars. All the new skills from the
various Weird War II books are included (and will be updated as new Weird War II
products become available), as well as any new skills from this site.
There are two versions of the table; the first is straight
from the books, "as printed." The second has been modified as I saw
fit, with a few things I think were mistakes in the original printings, and the
rest things I personally felt should be different than printed.
Each version has been put up in 2 formats; HTML and a JPEG
image. The HTML uses the Wingdings font and is a huge table, so it may look
really ugly on some computers, but if it displays it should be the preferred
format. If that's the case, go with the JPEG, although it's pretty crappy
quality and it is missing the Motorcycle Driving skill (it's late and I don't
feel like re-scanning it, I'll fix it the next time I update the damned thing).
If someone would like to turn it into Adobe Acrobat/PDF format that'd be
awesome, but until that time you'll just have to be happy with these versions.

Compiled Weird Wars Skills and Feats List
To make it a little easier for Weird War players to choose
skills and feats for their characters, I've compiled all the "new"
ones (those not in the Player's Handbook, basically) into two printable
lists. Skills for the OSI Psychic class appear on the skill list, but available
psionic/metapsionic feats have been left off of the feat list (as it was large
enough already, and if you're not using the OSI Psychic class found on this site
it doesn't matter anyway).
As with all the other text on this site, it's done in HTML;
if it doesn't print well for you, find someone to convert it into PDF format for
me.
