Unit Organization

Overview

Weird Wars, as with every other RPG out there, is designed for small-scale combat, not huge military engagements. As such, I don't see any reason to give in-depth organizational charts/info beyond the Battalion level, as just the thought of handling even a Battalion using the d20 (or any other RPG) system gives me a headache.
The following information has mostly been taken from Gary Kennedy's websiteStephane Commans's French military site, and the book "The US Army in World War II" by Mark R. Henry. Some of the information is cut-and-paste the same, but with other info I've done a little tinkering to make the information more useful in an RPG setting (and without the WM having to "flesh out" the info too much in order to make it useful to them).
As a word of note, once a unit (of any size, really) was in combat, standard organizational deployments went right out the window. Unless stated otherwise, everything on this page refers to full-strength, "properly equipped" units.
I've thrown in any other information I felt was appropriate, such as military ranks for the French, and tactical information on the use of various units.

Due to the amount of information, each military has it's own page:

United States Army

German Army

French Army

British Army
